Refund policy

Last updated: 10 October 2026

If you are not happy with a course, ask for a refund within 7 days of buying it and you will get your money back in full. No questions asked. You do not need to give a reason, and you will not be asked for one.

1. What is covered

  • Any course purchase, within 7 days of the date you bought it.
  • The full amount you paid, refunded to the original payment method.

The free parts of the service, including the textbook, the demo question, the ST4 calculator and the study planner, cost nothing and so have nothing to refund.

2. Using the course does not affect your refund

You can answer questions, read the textbook, sit mock papers and have your introductory call, and still ask for a refund inside the 7 days. We do not measure how much of the course you used before deciding.

Our 7-day refund promise applies even if you have started using the course. It is in addition to your statutory rights and does not limit them.

3. How to ask

Email us within 7 days of your purchase from the address on your account, saying that you would like a refund. That is the whole process.

Email: admin@mrcpsychiatrist.com

4. When you get the money

Refunds are processed within 5 working days of the request and are returned through the payment provider to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.

Access to the course ends when the refund is issued. Your account, your answer history and your progress are not deleted, so if you buy again later you pick up where you left off.

5. After 7 days

The pass-or-full-refund guarantee below applies outside the 7-day window. Otherwise, we do not offer refunds as a matter of course after 7 days, because access has been provided for the term you bought. This does not affect your legal rights, including your rights if the service is not provided with reasonable care and skill or does not match how it was described. If something has gone wrong, contact us and we will deal with it.

6. £399 pass-or-full-refund guarantee

The £399 Personalised preparation plan for Paper A and the £399 Personalised preparation plan for Paper B each include this guarantee. Submit at least 4,000 question attempts for the relevant paper on your account before your exam. If you do not pass that paper, we will refund that plan payment in full.

Each submitted question attempt counts, including repeat practice of the same question. The 4,000 attempts do not need to be distinct questions, and there is no minimum practice score. Paper A attempts count towards Paper A; Paper B attempts count towards Paper B. We check your recorded attempts and their submission times against your exam date.

To claim after receiving your result, email admin@mrcpsychiatrist.com from your account email address. Tell us which paper you sat and the exam date, and attach your result showing that you did not pass. You can hide unrelated personal details. We will check your purchase and recorded attempts, then confirm your full refund. If we need anything else to verify the claim, we will explain what is missing.

There is no additional claim deadline. We process the refund within 5 working days of receiving the information needed to verify your claim, using the original payment method. Your bank may take a few days more to show it. The guarantee is in addition to the 7-day refund policy and your statutory rights.

7. Reimbursement from a study budget

A refund and a study-budget claim are separate things. If your trust or deanery has already reimbursed you for a course and you then take a refund from us, it is your responsibility to tell them. How to claim a course back explains the claim side.

8. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy removes or limits your rights under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy does, the law applies.
